Single Arch Attachment Set

Single arch denture cases require a stone cast of the opposing (non-edentulous, non impression) side, and the bite catpured with a Single Arch Attachment of the opposing side. The Single Arch Attachment is a thin, flat tray attached to the opposing side of the patient's mouth with enables proper VD and CR capture. 

If a patient is receiving a maxillary single arch denture, a Mandibular Single Arch Attachment is used. If the patient is receiving a mandibular single arch denture, a Maxillary Single Arch Attachment is used. 

The Maxillary Single Arch Attachment is shaped like a half-circle. The Mandibular Single Arch Attachment is shaped like a horseshoe and has a central pinhole. Bite registration is used to attach the opposing natural dentition or denture to the side of the Single Arch Attachment that has the thin ridge for setting teeth against.
