The Pala Tracer is an adhesive-based centric relation capture tool which comes with every Pala tray. The Pala tracer is placed on the bottom of the maxillary tray, and the center pin on the mandibular tray is used to trace the CR point against the Pala Tracer.
Unlike conventional CR capture devices, the Pala Tracer requires virtually no setup time. If the CR capture is not satisfactory, the then plastic film can be lifted to erase the previous trace, and then the CR position can be traced again with no additional setup time.
The Pala Tracer makes a conventionally complicated procedure highly repeatable and simple.
1. Peel off sticker from back side
2. Stick tracer on bottom of maxillary tray
3. Capture CR with gothic arch tracing, simplified tracing, or direct check bite according to our instructions.
4. Drill a dimple at the CR point
5. Lock in center pin to dimple and capture bite registration
